Mulch

Mulch - Dyed Black

Dyed Black Mulch is ground to AA standards and then dyed using a vegetable oil and water-based pet and plant friendly dye.

Mulch - Double Ground Bark

Made of shredded bark from hardwood trees such as maples and oaks, this sturdy mulch compacts over time so it resists blowing away. Because of its staying power, hardwood mulch is ideal for sloped beds and gardens.

Sandrock

#304 Sandrock

0"-3" this mixture of fines to golf ball size stone is very economically priced and works fantastic for a drive or work area around a construction site. Packs tight and will shed water, easily gradable and will notbreak the bank. Also gets used in barnyards as well as dog pens due the fast drying and no "sticky" materials like clay type soils have.

Crushed Sandrock

0"-12" this coarse to fines material is mostly used for driveway base, will shed water and has larger stone in for "bridging" soft areas. Not recommended for thin layers, works best in locations that need more depth.

#4 Sandrock

1.5"-3" great for touchup grading, will pack in nicely. Not recommended for finish layer, should be capped off for permanent.

Uncrushed Sandrock

Sometimes called a "bank run" material, this is dug out but not sent through the crusher, the sizes can vary greatly depending on the formation we are in.

#2 Sandrock

3"-5" Excellent base material for drives and parking areas, also commonly used for landscaping in place of mulch.

Type D Sandrock

Large size Sandrock 5"-12", great for base layer or for erosion control. Sandrock is economically priced, lifespan is not as long as limestone when exposed to the weather.

#57 Sandrock

.5"-1.5" another size that grades easily and is good for fine tuning your site. We recommend covering it with a more long­ lasting material when job is completed.

Soil

Subsoil

Consists mostly of clay, works well for building sites and compacts nicely for digging through for footers etc.

Spoils

This material will have a mixture of coal and clay, not recommended for building sites or anywhere that needs compaction.

Sand

This material is the "fines" from the crushing of the rock, distinctly different from washed river sand, this will pack and has small grains that are pin head size mixed in, will make a solid surface for pavers etc.

Topsoil

Rich, farmland topsoil, unscreened but clean, with little to no roots or rocks.

Other

Hydite

Byproduct of cultured stone, light weight material with concrete substance to it, generally used as driveway base, not suitable in every situation. Recommended to ask our advice for usage if unfamiliar to you.
